Hello, dear ones! I'm Priya (she/her), the creator/editor-in-chief/vibe curator here at Clementine. I'm a 20 year old NYU student in environmental studies and documentary film, a graphic designer, hopeless poetry nerd, Colorado hippie, writer, and earl grey enthusiast. Sagittarius sun, Taurus moon, Leo rising. Clementine was a quarantine project started on a whim that's turned into the most remarkable and loving community of creators. Hi y'all! I'm Peyton (she/her), The Clem's chief editor/social media manager. I'm a 20 year old NYU student as well as a Texan expat, a poet/fledgling songwriter, the mother of one handsome cat-son, and probably your future therapist. Sagittarius sun, Gemini moon, Gemini rising. When I'm not studying sociology and psych, I'm writing poetry or annoying my neighbors with my BEAUTIFUL serenades-- seriously, they're so ungrateful. Troy - Creative Producer
Hi Clems (my new favorite thing to say)! I'm Troy (he/him) and I am proudly serving the position of Creative Producer. I'm originally from the Philadelphia area, but just moved into my first apartment in NYC. I'm a rising junior at NYU with a concentration in Environmental Arts Theory (which I'd love to ramble on about if anyone's interested, let me know!). It's been a long time since I've contributed to an art publication, but Clementine has snuck up on me and been the perfect community of artistic freedom. I'm a photographer at heart who's starting to venture into painting and writing thanks to the influx of inspiration that you all send in every day! I think what we're growing is really special, and I'm glad that you're here to contribute!

Hello! I'm Dominic (he/him) and I'm a copy editor at the zine! I like to read about climate change, systems of social organization, and psychedelics. When I'm not reading, I'm splitting my time between attending Antelope Valley College, working at the Lancaster Museum of Art and History, gardening, and multiple music projects including my political rock band Sound Curfew.

April - Creative Producer
Hi everybody! I'm April (They/She) and I'm a Creative Producer! I'm a constantly curious human being who's always down to learn something. I'm a dancer, poet, artist, general crafter, and lover of eating fruit off the bush, tree, or vine (blueberries are my fav). I'm a first generation Chinese American who loves to paint, talk about plants, garden, cuddle with cats, write songs on my ukelele, and analyze my dreams. Clementines remind me of my childhood because my grandmother had the most wonderful tree full of these sweet bright orbs of sunlight. I'm so grateful to collaborate with some wonderful people to create something like a warm clementine tree home, where we can all climb the branches and get our hands sticky with art. I grew up in the Mojave Desert of Southern California but I'm currently residing in the redwoods of Northern California. Pisces Sun and Moon, Scorpio rising <3 if you ever want to hear from the perspective of a water sign, I'm your person!

Aleksandra - Fiction and Prose Editor
Hey y'all! I'm Aleksandra (she/her/hers), the fiction and prose editor. I'm a 20 year old junior at NYU majoring in English and Creative Writing. I'm Atlanta born, Denver bred, and a dedicated sweet potato enthusiast--approximately half of my meals and snacks include them. In my free time, I like to read, write, watch movies (especially bad teen rom-coms), play guitar, and sing. A very important fact about me is I am a tried and true Aquarius with a strong influence from my Taurus moon and occasional infiltration from my Cancer rising. I'm very excited to be a part of the team and can't wait to bring all your work to life!

Hi everyone! I'm Sammie Lee Wilhoit (she/her). I am the Ask a Poet Advice Columnist as well as a writer and artist for the Clementine Zine. I am a 21 year old bisexual Professional Writing major studying at Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont. As well as being published in The Clementine Zine, a few of my poems have also been published in In Parentheses (IG @inparenth). I love writing poetry about love and longing as well as listening to others' life experiences.

Hi loves! My name is Mikayla but you can call me MJ (she/her). I am a contributing poet and artist for the Clementine Zine. I'm a musician and have been writing stories since forever. Born and raised in North Jersey though I've been a New Yorker for a good chunk of my life. If you get it just right, you might catch my NJ accent sometime. I'm a senior at SUNY New Paltz (think: if Woodstock housed a state university), majoring in International Relations with a double minor in Anthropology and Gender Studies. I love to ask questions, inherent in my Aquarius way but to my Scorpio moon's dismay (though my Pisces rising is pretty chill about it). Current obsessions include my carefully cultivated caffeine addiction, staring at trees, learning Arabic, and listening to latin music in my car. Catch me on my front porch in the a.m. drinking coffee and chatting with my cat Souna about something to do with the garden. Like many things, I am deeply passionate about this lovely community and cannot wait for more!

Originally from the mountains of Colorado, I now study philosophy and theatre at the University of Maine, and I hope to one day exude the same vibes as the Twilight: New Moon soundtrack. In my free time, I tend to gravitate towards activities such as tea drinking, reading, doing yoga, or backpacking. Hi! My name is Seantierre. I’m a multifaceted artist from the the Chicagoland area! Creativity has always been my first language. I’ve been making art since I was young, but I’ve been taking it more seriously around the last 3 years. Besides being in artist I also write poetry and run my own blog called evp magazine! I also have experience as a runway model, and a creative consultant with artists all of varieties. I hope to bring my own flavor of creativity as in house artist and writer just as the rest of the crew here at Clementine Zine does!
